TO15 preconcentrators

Hello all.
We're in the market for a new TO15 preconcentrator/sample tree.
I'm interested in getting feedback from those out there with the different products.
We currently have an Entech 7200 which I've been unhappy with (flaky software and poor after sales support - Australia).
The only other products available I can find are systems available from Markes and Nutech.
What are your experiences with these?
Cheers,
David

I don't have a preconcentrator but I can tell you I really like my Markes TD-100xr thermal desorption system. It has been in operation in my lab for almost 2 years now. I use stir bars as the sampling device most of the time but I have used Tenax sample tubes as well. Very good precision and the software is very stable and intuitive. I highly recommend the TD-100xr.
Perhaps someone else can comment on the preconcentrator piece. If it works like the other Markes equipment, you probably will be very happy.

Thanks for the reply.
I've been in touch with a friend from a rival company (!) and they have the Markes preconcentrators and he's very happy.
There don't appear to be many manufacturers and it seems to be either Entech or Markes.

I mentioned Nutech in the original post.
The webpage is ancient (the Nutech 8900 software is Windows 2000 compatible

, and I've contacted the Australian "vendor" and he hasn't heard from them in years and believes they've been taken over.
I'll pass.
It's Markes or Entech and I'll be going Markes with my last experience...

I didn't notice that from the first post. I saw in the app note that a 7890 GC was used. I guess I assumed that the Nutech instrument was still current.

No. I only have the TD-100xr I mentioned above. If that is a good indicator of the quality of their equipment across their product line, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I'm sorry I can't give you a first-hand recommendation.
