Hi,
We have recently borrowed a Varian CP4900 from a company to do some analysis on biogas content. We have a Galaxie data collection software (ver 1.9). I'm not too familiar with GC but I managed to get the software recognize the GC or the system. But when I want to create a new method it recognizes the system but it says that access is denied for creating the path. Does anyone know how to solve this problem or where I can get info about it.

This is part of my PhD project which without it I will be delayed a lot.

Thanks a lot.
Were you able to find a solution in your problem?

I have a similar issue with my CP-4900. I followed the instructions for the installation of Galaxie v1.9 and the GC controller. I am able to setup and connect the system via the Configuration Manager. The CP-4900 communicates and sends/receives the settings. Note that the two channels/columns are colored red, everything seems ok and the CP-4900 is Ready. I do not if this ok and indicates an issue.

When I open the Galaxie software the system does not appear at all, for any user. I have only one system so I do know if it is a problem with the CP-4900 or the Galaxie.
