Can anyone tell which LC-MS/MS system is better in sensitivity and Repeatability of results.

In short only you can tell what is best for your analysis..

You will get conflicting answers based on subjective opinions when asking here.

My advice is as following
1. How is the service level for each vendor in your area.. Make sure the companies answer how many trained engineers they have on that particular model! You have no use for QExactive trained engineers that don't know the Quantis or GC trained Agilent FSE for your LCMS..

2. Also consider history. The 6495 has been on the market for a few years and is a stable tried platform. Maybe not the most sensitive system on the market but proven and tested. The Quantis is new.. Maybe better but only time can tell.. Maybe best system in the world.. Maybe a piece of...

3. Have both companies test your samples and report to you. Make sure you set defined sensitivity levels, reproducability and such things in the tender.

4. Check softwares.. Masshunter vs Xcalibur/Chromeleon. Have them demoed for you.

5. Consider front end LC.. The 1260 Prime from Agilent gives you 800 bar without the U HPLC hassel..or go full out with the 1300 bar 1290 Infinity II. Themo has the 1000 bar Ultimate or the 1500 bar Vanquish.. What is needed for your analysis? Ask for references.

Hope this helps.
