Hi

I used to do oil analysis for residual solvent - on GC using headpace - hexane the most often and sometimes ethanol. My old Headspace was broken so I got replicement: Perken Elmer HS 40 XL, and when I put meals samples from plant - solvent oil extraction - 1g or try also 0.5 grams some of them (Borage, Crambe, Strawberry Meals) couse after about 1-2 min of analysis flame out on GC - what could be a reason?, before I used Headspace Tekmar 7000 and I didnt have this. This problem is only with solid samples I did many analysis on different kinds of Oil's smaples - 5g and it was/is working ok. Any advice?
