HPLC of oils and polyols

Hello, I am looking for appropriate column and mobile phase for analysis of vegetable oils and vegetable oil based polyols. I have used Phase-Riverse and Symmetry Columns with Acetone/Acetonitrile = 70/30 ( and 30/70) mobile phase but separation is very bad. We have Uv and RI detectors. Any help would be appreciated.

Try C30 column.

What is bad about your separation? Peak shape? Resolution/selectivity? Something else? Depending on this, one can make better recommendations...

I find Sasha's and jschlechte's problem almost identical (although jschlechte explain the problem much better). Maybe these people are from the same lab?
