Hellow,

I am praveen , I want to know that How we can analyse ethyl difluoro acetate on GC , whether it's flash point is just 25°C. It is safe to analyse on GC or e should tried it on Normal phase HPLC . waht is right possibility please tell us.

Thanks and regards

Praveen

praveen,

I looked at the structure on the NIST web site but unfortunately they do not have any retention indices. I should think this compound would be doable via GC by either ECD or PID or FID. I should think a thick film PDMS at low temp would do the trick. Good luck.

Best regards.

Porapak Q packed

Flurocol packed

1% SP-1000 on Carbopack B packed

I would suggest a AT-steel tubing in lengths of 6 to 15 ft.

Lengths depend upon the isomers and the time and temperatures preferred.

Alternatives:

Thick film capillary SPB-2250, Supelcowax 10, or SPB-Octyl would give best results.
