GC Application File

I am commissioning an old GC bought in 1998, Model 500 make: Daniel; it was left unused for several years.

Using MON2000 (recently purchased) for windows, I am able to communicate with 2350 controller but when I download the standard Application file with .BIN extension which came with the MON2000 CD, it doesn't work and analyzer failure alarm is reported. I don't have the original APPLICATION FILE so I tried every file from the new MON2000 CD but after each download, the CONTROL menu switches on MON2000 GUI do not activate.

I tried following APPLICATION files:

Energy Measurement C6+ 4 min (2350_001_v166)
Energy Measurement C6+ 4 min (700_Mode0_v188).APP
ISO Energy Measurement C6+ 4 min (2350ISO1_v165) etc

Am I right in concluding that these files are for GC700 series only and are incompatible with old GC500 model.

If anybody has a standard application file for GC500 pl. suggest me the link.

Any other idea is also appreciated.

Dear Chromatographer1, I checked the link provided by you but it doesn't contain useful information. No application file is available for download at the Daniel Website.

I have also posted my query at Daniel support page, but didn't receive any reply.

Pl. give a link where I can find application file for GC500.

Thanks

jbtind,

Are you unable to make a phone call due to your location?

You have the contact information and their web site info.

I know you have internet access.

Goodness gracious, send an email asking for their assistance.

They have the file you require and technical assistance available.

What is stopping you?

I do not understand your inability to get the information you need.

Are you a competitor and don't wish to make your intentions aware to them?

Good luck in your quest.

Rod
