Drop in carrier gas flow-rate at high temperature GC-2014

Hi,
I am using Shimadzu GC2014 with TCD and Dual FID. In order to analyze the reaction products, I am ramping the column temperature from 140 to 180 C. However, when temperature reaches 180 C, an error is appearing as "CAR1. R DAFC is out of control. [E2145]. After that the carrier gas (Argon) flow-rate starts to decrease from 20 ml/min to below 5 ml/min. Apparently there is no carrier gas leakage. I shall be really thankful if someone could help me in resolving this issue. Thank you very much.

Regards,

Does your instrument include valves? Does this pressure drop occur after a valve change? It could be that a fitting or two associated with a flow path could be loose.

Is the carrier gas set to constant flow or constant pressure ? If to constant flow you may have too little gas pressure in you gas supply to keep the flow at its set level at the maximum temperature. Try increasing the pressure in your supply lines.
