Hello to you all,
I'm having a problem with the connection between my agilent 7890 GC, and OpenLab running on the controle PC.
I can get a connection, even do a couple of runs. But after some time(let's say an hour) the InstClient from OpenLab freezes.

Have any of you encountered this before.

Add a service account to the PC, e.g. openlab_service with a password.
In Services set the Instrument Service to logon with this service account and set it to Autmatic (not delayed).
Now it runs under a separate account and not under the login-user.

OK here some ideas.
Check if the Power Saving Settings on the network card are disabled. If not Windows might think there is not enough activity on the card and put it in power saving mode, actually switches it off.....
Previous one: run the Instrument Service under a service account rather then Local System and set it to Automatic rather than Automatic (Delayed)
