One of my Waters 590 pumps decided to die on me, i.e. the CPU board doesn't start.

Now I need the service manual with the wiring schematics to find and fix the error.

Does anybody have one available?

Thanks!

:o well... you never know why you never throw certain old things away!
I have an ill 590, and the very old manual. The problem is that it is a very large paper file. What exactly do you need?
The appendix E is in part, a series of electrical blueprints and other dark things...

Oh wow! Thanks!

Would you mind giving me your e-mail address so we determine how you can get the pump to me? :) I need some arcane electronic parts and the housing for the pump mechanics. The service manual would come in handy as well :)

The information I need is:
- What voltages does the supply board produce?
- What capacities do the capacitors have?
- Are there different ROM versions?
- How does the oil pump (for the lubrication) of the unit work?
- How is the oil compartment sealed?
- What signals are wired through the backplane board?

And do you have any spares for the 590? :)

OK, HbJ
my e-mail is ginah@ibt.unam.mx
Let me tell you that when my 590 breaks down, there is no hope left, or spare parts. My pump still works, (I dont know for how long)

What I can offer you is that I can send you the three schematics in the manual: two for the motor driver and one for the interconnect (hand-made). They are for the user, I am not as skilled as you suppose in the terms you asked  , so I have no idea if the answer to what you ask me is there.
