Hello,

I'm working on acetaldehyde measurement in PET preforms and bottles using a headspace HP 7694, a GC Agilent 6890 and a FID detector. I don't know how to choose parameters setpoints. I also need a chemstation manual.

Thanks.

I would suggest that you do not heat the sample excessively as acetaldehyde is very reactive, even with itself.

make test samples and evaluate the heating conditions you require.

best wishes,

Rod

Thanks Chromatographer1!

Could anyone tell me where can I find a chemstation software tutorial?
