Dear all,

I would like to decrease the speed of my combiPAL autosampler. I know there is a hidden menu in the pad, where I can change this. The reason is this: my SPME needle gets twisted when entering the injector, even if it's aligned. Can somebody help me?

Thanks a lot,

Sebastien

In the menu you scroll down to Setup, hit the F3 button even though there is no option there and then hit the center button..

There is you hidden menu.. But please be careful! You can really mess up some stuff in there.. And if you service organisation finds out you were in there... don't expect a happy service engineer! :)

One piecec of advice.. Make a backup of your setup with the PAL loader before changing anything!!
Kind regards

You may want to check the tension cords in the sampler. It sounds like they may be stretched out. It's recomended to change the tension cords every six to 12 months. If you've never done this how old is your system?

I found a quick (temporary fix) to the old/worn out bunge issue is to pull the cable through the support and tie a new knot, effectively making the cable shorter.
