Hi all,

I want to buy a new HPLC system. I am interested by the Ultimate 3000 dual analytical system from Dionex to make heart-cutting two-dimensionnal liquid chromatography.
Dionex has a good reputation and experience in Ionic chromatography, but in HPLC, their knowledge is shorter compared with Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu or Thermo.

So I want to know the reliability and the quality of their HPLC system.

Thanks

Don't be concerned about the experience Dionex has with HPLC. Back in 1998, Dionex acquired Gynkotek, German manufacturer of HPLC instruments and software. Gynkotek was founded in 1978.
After the acquisition, Gynkotek became Dionex Softon. Today, all Dionex HPLC instruments are developed and manufactured at Dionex Softron. Dionex (Softron) therefore has 30 years of experience in HPLC. For more information, you might follow this link: http://www.dionexsoftron.de/pages/en/index_en.html
The UltiMate system platform is definitely excellent quality equipment for your laboratory. You might screen this forum for comments on the system. Here is a recent discussion http://www.sepsci.com/chromforum/viewto ... 8136#38136
