ABI 365 Hardware Profile Problem

Hello,
my lab has recently acquired an ABI 365 LC-MS/MS instrument controlled by the Analyst 1.4.1 software. It's set up with an HP1100 LC and a CTC autosampler. To the best of my knowledge all of the Analyst hot fixes have been installed. Having set up an acquisition method, which ran sucessfully a couple of times, I'm no longer able to get the instrument to run. It will however run in 365 mode only, i.e. without any LC or autosampler configured. The following error message appears:
"DAB Server Error = 0x80040400 Acquisition method(s) selected is inconsistent with the active hardware profile. Check the hardware profile."
I think (but I really don't know) that the hardware profile has somehow changed since it all ran correctly the first few times. Unfortunately I've no experience of the analyst software or ABI instruments. Any thoughts as to what I could try to get it going again?
Thanks,
Dan.

Hi Dan,

I would try first to set up a new hardwareprofile Select under Hardware Configuration New Profile. Then if MS only works setup the 365 and just the 1100 pump. Start the profil and check if pump and ms are able to switch on. If it ok deactivate the new profile go to edit profile and add the Columoven, check if it works, then add the ctc autosampler.
Im my lab we work with the 3200Qtrap with Agilent 1100 2 pumps, Wellplate Sampler and Colum Oven The CTC Pal is not compatible when the 11oo Sampler is in the same Hardwareprofile. But this will be not your problem.
