Does anyone use the Mass calculator and Formula calculator options of MassHunter to identify compounds using the mass spectrum?

I did try the familiarization guide before posting this question. I need to know if anyone uses the mass calculator and formula calculator.

I need to know how to proceed if my GCxGC chromatogram has a compound which I cant identify using NIST as my 1st column is wax ( which is not always easy to find matches for).
