Hi,
I´ve to test a method for MDEA, i need to know if the column i have can be used with water as solvent.
Column: WCOT FUSED SILICA 30MX0.25MM ID COATING CP-SIL 8CB DF=0.5 FOR AMINES. VARIAN CP7595
Do you know any method for MDEA by GC-FID?
Thanks.

Maybe. But it "might" help if you specify what "MDEA" is. I know that "DEA" is Drug Enforcement Administration or could mean diethanolamine or diethylamine....

Yes it is a regulated pollutant by the EPA (see attached). No I have not found the limit in air.
