2-nitropropanol

Dear all
I have been asked to measure 2-nitropropanol in water by GC-MS. Any of you have tryed it. I do not like very much introducing water in the MS. Perhaps mixing with methanol could hep. The compound is alone so only separation from the solven is needed.
