Is there user friendly software for AKTA FPLC

I am an HPLC person, and with the software now you can get it to do almost anything, I love it. javascript:emoticon(':D')
Recently we purchased an AKTApurifier 10 (FPLC), we had an older model, and then purchased this one as we were told it can be more automated. As in: it has two pumps (apart from a number of other things), and 4 solvent lines (A1 or A2; B1 or B2).
We thought this is great, we can wash the column, condition it, and then perform a gradient run. However it is the most user unfriendly software I have ever used. To get it to perform a simple operation you have to add a block of info. It is really frustrating me.
My question is: Is there some other software out there that can drive it?javascript:emoticon('')
