hi at all
I'd like to know your opinion about sensitivity of this mass spectrometer... actually we have both system in different lab and thermo seems best.
Something seems to me wrong due to 30x gap of Thermo TSQ.
We use instruments in clinical studies.
thanks to all

Hi there.

Its great to have both systems in your lab ; it will be very easy to demonstrate both the system capabilties.

My recommendation is to work both system up - if you have access to them.

1) Make sure both system are well calibrated and tuned to specifications before your evaluation; as to limit any biases.

2) Prepare your samples/standards and inject the same samples/standards in both system and compare their LLOQ/LLOD/signal to noise/ linearity - by this, you will be able to make comparison on both system's performances

P/S: If you have the same LC front, its even better - but it shouldnt posed a big problem !!!

I just want to know what you mean by 30x gap in the thermo system?

Thanks and hope this helps !!!
