Can I know what will be your application?
What made you to zero on TQD only? Are you not contacted any other vendor except waters?
Though Waters claims its very good system and I still need to see its real performance in the lab.
If you can explain me the reasons to choose TQD then probably I can give you a better advice.

Like DM, my company are also considering the Waters TQD for our bioanalytical quantitiation assays.
The pro's for us are:
1. Compatibility with our validated (CFR 21 pt 11 compiant) Empower 2 system.
2. No additional software to validate/learn.
3. No further SOPs required (just additions to existing ones).
4. Timeline for Qualification for GLP use is optimized.
Consequently, I would be interested in views of users. My lab deals with pre-clinical (toxicokinetic and Pharmacokinetic samples in multiple species rather than human clinical samples.

comment: There will be a little bit of a learning curve if this is your first MSD - just because MSDs are not at all like UVs or PDAs.
related question: [hijack] Does the MSD (for Acquity) require its own PC or do you just plug it into a LAC/E along with the rest of the system (Empower 2, via Citrix).[/hijack]
