Acquity TQD question

We just got an Acquity/TQD. Things were looking good, and then I started getting poor repeatibility and poor linearity. It turned out the inter-channel and inter-scan delays had been inadvertently changed from their default values of 0.005 sec to higher numbers (more like you would use on the Quattro micro 0.02 and 0.1 sec). Why did this screw up my data? We were still getting plenty of points across our peaks. :?:

If my limited understanding is correct: you had plenty of points, but less information. Your points are actually slices, so you were looking at very narrow slices and lots of dead time between them. It would be like trying to visually resolve a painting, painted on the bars of a jail cell, while trying not to see what was inside the cell. You would get a clearer sense of the picture if it were painted on the rear wall of the cell, being slightly obfuscated by the bars.

How many transitions do you follow and how many points exactly do you have per peak?
