I thought this was interesting. I have never been a big fan of polymeric columns, but it seems like they might make more sense for normal phase: because the back pressure is much lower, and because the polymeric backbone won't contribute to excessive retention like it can sometimes when doing reversed phase HPLC with polymer columns.
This also caught my attention because amino columns are uniquely useful for certain normal phase applications, but can be very reactive. These polymeric columns are probably more stable.
Anyone ever tried this? Any comments?
