I have to search for the products formed as a result of oxidation of tetracycline. I have HPLC/MS/MS and I can analyze tetracycline and also see the increase or decrease in some new peaks in the chromatogram. But I think to confirm their structure only MS data is not sufficient. So, I am planning to do NMR. But before that I need to separate these products. one of my friend suggested that Reverse phase-flash chromatography/ RF-TLC can help.
1.Can any body please give some more detail about brand of RFLC stationary phase and RFTLC available in market with good results. and if there are any pitfalls which can make my work complex and need to avoid.
2.I checked the price of RF silica (aldrich 377635) and it is expensive, can I reuse this after some pretreatment or washing?
