Agilent 1100 ChemStation DAD spectra issue

In my online window, as I am equilibrating or otherwise running mobile phase through the detector but not collecting data, the online spectra window shows the current spectral readout, as expected. But as soon as I start running a method, the online spectra freezes, and will not show active, running spectral readouts. It either is frozen in the last state before the method started, or the line vanishes, only to come back when I stop the method. Anybody have any idea why?

If the data are being collected properly during the run, then this may be a software problem. Try re-installing the software. If that doesn't work, call Agilent.
