Have you had discussed this?

Flow is contant. By changing organic percentage, we can move analyte around, such as from 3 to 6 minutes. The question is what happens to the UV area counts? The same or change?

IF change, due to solvent or detector effects?

Hi ym3142,

We’ve discussed a similar topic recently. So you’ll get the short version: The area should remain constant.
If not? The change could be due to solvent induced max. wavelength shift or absorption coefficient.
