I'm just wondering what the current naming convention is re: using systems with higher pressures greater than 400 bar to realise LC separations with columns packed with sub-2 micron particles?
Is UPLC strictly a trademark for the Waters Acquity branding or is it being applied to all separations of this ilk be it with an Agilent 1200RR, Jasco X-LC or Thermo Accela.
I'm just thinking of correct terminology we should using for our internal documents - currently I'm using the acronym U-HPLC. Any thoughts / comments anyone?
