Hi,

We are currently looking to replace our aged Varian 3400's with either Varian 3800's or PE Clarus 600's, and a Clarus 500 Arnel Gas System.

Any comments good/bad about performance, user-friendliness, service etc of either would be welcome.

Also any comments on Galaxie software.

Thanks

The Varian 3800 is worlds better than the 3400, and depending on exactly what kind of work you do it is as good or better than the main competition.

I get on fine with Galaxie.

By the way, I hear that Varian has or shortly will launch another model of GC.
