pic reagent

Hi, from what ive read, pic reagent cannot be fully removed from a column once used what is the best way to clean the column after pic reagent use

Usually something like 50/50 methanol/water will work. In most cases, you can get all the ion pair reagent off (but most does not equal all!). As a rule of thumb, the cationic reagents (quaternary amines) are more problematic because they may bind tightly to residual silanols on the column packing.
