I would like to know which column to use for this kind of gas chromatography separation :
Carrier Gas : Argon
Sample : 5000ppm NO and 5000ppm C3H8
I want to know which column will give the best result
ASAP please

Difficult to say. Porapak QS is a possibility. Also a column packed with 6.6% Carbowax 20M on Carbopack B should work nicely.
A thick film (1-5µm) phenyl methyl silicone (5% to 50%) column is also a possibility if you cannot use a standard packed column.
I hope you are not using NO outside of an enclosed sampling and injection system. Are you developing a method to sample and analyze a propylene conversion reactor? Sorry , I am just being nosey. Good luck

Hello,
why not using a Widebore column (0.53id) with a porous polymer, PPQ and other are doing this job.
