Please help me with all the information I would need to become a sucessful HPLC chemist and the procedures and software involved and how to use it.

I am afriad not much. You can not teach yourself to a chromatographist.

It's a simple, 3-step process:
1. do a literature search on the key phrase "HPLC" and find academic (professors) whose names appear on 5 or more publications over the past 3 years (the more, the better).
2. Apply and be admitted as a graduate student with one of those professors as advisor.
3. Get Ph.D.
Now, all joking aside, there is no single or simple answer. Maybe if you give us more information about yourself, we can make some useful suggestions.
What is your highest academic degree?
How much work experience do you have?
and in what areas?

I am aware of all the analytical techniques as I am masters in science.I am planning to go back to work after a break of 3 years and I need to be brushed up with the whole process as such the practical part as I am not sure if I will get trained on the job.Also I wanted to brush myself on the softwares used.
