What is the Stationary Phase of XLS Columns. I Found on internet all the Manufacturers reported it is a Properitery Phass But I Want to Know What is Actually . Just Like Dimethylepolysiloxen or 5% Phenyle+95%Dimethylepolysiloxen .
I hope Mr. ROD Surely give me the reply

Thanks for This

Rodney George knows but it is a secret.

It is not public domain.

It is based on a silicone phase like the ones you mentioned.

Perhaps you can get Agilent to tell you and make it public knowledge.

Good luck,

Rod

Mr. Soni,

Why would any of these companies want to tell you what their proprietary phases are? It is their life-blood in the business. You could reverse engineer it, which is what I suspect most of them do when someone else comes out with a new wonder phase. Other than that I can totally understand why Agilent won't tell you. Sorry but that is just common business sense.

Best regards.

Dear AICCM
i know this is totally out of the business but for a researcher it is very important to know about the mechanism of separation and for this what type of stationary phase we used . i also appriciate your quick responce for the same . but for me this is very impotant to know .
i Think there is a general truth " if u think and decide what u want then this is not impossible ."

Thanks again
