Closed tube tissue homogenization

Does anyone on this forum have experience using any of the "closed" systems that are out there for tissue homogenization? We usually use a Polytron or equivalent, but I'd like to use something more contained. Do the tubes with beads (such as Precellys, Bullet Blender, probably some others) work as well, especially with something like muscle? Can solvents such as ethyl acetate be used instead of aqueous buffers? Ideally, I'd like a system that could handle up to a g of tissue.
