I am currently looking for a GC/FID/MS instrument working in a pharmaceutical company. I would like to use the instrument for analyses of residual solvents of pharmaceutical material and leachable/extractable from the liquid pharmaceutical containers. I am interested in Perkin Elmer Clarus 600 GCMS and Thermo DSQ II, among others.
Has any one have experience with the GCMS instruments using for the applications I listed above or any other applications? What are the pro and con for the instruments? My budget for the instrument is quite liberal, around 100K or so. I would also like the software of the instrument is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant per US FDA guideline. Thanks.
