Is ti possible to seperate through a column or maybe on a TLC plate an a:b from b:c unsaturated ester ? I use PEther and DEther (2:1 ... 1:4 ) in my column in order to separate a mixture of these two compounds but there is no satisfying result.

what is "a:b from b:c unsaturated ester "?
what is "PEther and DEther (2:1 ... 1:4 )" ?
