Dear All,

There are problems with DANI ECD detector. When swiching on, baseline starts to climbe and finally it becomes too high and climbes over the scale. With temperature lifted up to 370 C it drops down and stays satble. But whenever it is lowered to 300, the baseline starts to rise like a hell. Maybe somebodhy has experienced something like that?

Zydrunas,

Sounds like it may be a leak in the detector fittings, especially column connector. As you heat the detector very hot it expands the ferrule and finishes off the seal but at lower temperature the expansion is insufficient to seal. I would start with the detector inlet ferrules.

Best regards.
