Dear All,
Where I can find sytematical instruction about what solvent (mobile phase) could be solve what polymer in GPC use.
Thank you very much.
Michelle

There are alot of catalogues you can refer to (example Waters catalogue under GPC section). There is a whole list of recommended solvents for different common polymers.

Hi, I am new to GPC as well. Here is a link I found that might be helpful to you: http://www.ampolymer.com/FRD/Solubility.htm

Solubility is not the only thing. You also need to avoid adsorption to the packing.

The tables at the Waters site have been proven for the polymers. You can also find a version of these tables in my book "HPLC Columns".

Thank you, friends.
And Uwe, could you tell me your book name? only "HPLC column"?
