Anyone have any experience with the new ES Inds EPIC HILIC column ? I just got it and it came with no instructions or guidelines. I got it to try this mode of LC but would like some guidance. Their website (esind.com) has the page "under construction" so there's no documentation out there except for the sales lit that prompted me to buy it ! More specifically I'd like to know general startup procedure (conditioning) and operating conditions. Trying an alternative way to separate small carboxylic acids. :?:

Would you mind telling us what organic acids you are trying to separate? HILIC might be one but not common way for organic acids separation. There are other method that may work better depending on the application.

I do not have any information on this particular column, and for that matter I'm not sure if it is a HILIC column. A quote from the website:
"Hydrophyllic Interaction Chromatography (HICIL)
This page is currently being worked on and will be posted soon."

You can request your own free copy of "A practical Guide to HILIC" which is a tutorial and application guide to HILIC.

Send an email to info@sequant.com, and we will make sure that a copy is sent to you within short.
