Dear Friends,
Can we scan a molecule prepared in 100% methanol( eg. 1µg/mL conc). This I am asking to aviod a possible contamination due to HPLC grade water(Formation of Na adduct with my molecule ) when I use 60% methanol.

yes
we have been using 100% methanol for scanning molecules in API instruments. moreover, u can use that adduct ion in regular analysis if it is coming constantly
