Hello!

I am using gas chromatography from Varian and i put my samples yesterday for analysis. Today I realised that there are no chromatograms. My system is not equilibrating, so I check out if the problem is coming because there is no air. But no, all the gases are ok. After that I tried to reactivated my method but still nothing, I changed my method just to see if it works with another method, but the problem it still here. So I tried to do it manually, first to start the programme column by pushing the button of the chromatograph, and in that case the programme is running but still there is no chromatogram, also I tried to start the column programme by pushing the injector by hand, but the same results.
Any ideas what is happening?

In this case the first step is to restart everything. Sometimes communication between the instrument and computer fails. Follow these steps in this order:

1) Shut down the computer (not restart).
2) Turn off the autosampler.
3) Turn off the GC.
4) Turn off any accessories you have connected.
5) Turn on the autosampler.
6) Turn on any accessories you have connected.
7) Turn on the GC.
Start the computer.
