Hi there people . i wanna know how to write a programme /method and save it in the sequences under browser. i am facing a problem with the LC Dionex system where after going to batch option in chromeleon environment and clicking the readycheck button i am getting a response as inject unknown symbol for some sequences and for some sequences it shows can't read programme. Please guys help me out .

To write a new program, go to File->New... and select "Program File". Let the wizard guide you through the process. Save the file in some convenient place in the browser. Second, go to File->New... and select "Method File". Just save the file; you will fill in the details later. Next go to File->New... and select "Sequence (Using Wizard)". Again, let the wizard guide you. About 4 pages into the sequence, it asks for a program file and quantification method; choose the new files you just created. For the Preferred report, find the default report in the Templates folder. Save it and run it. You can use drag-and-drop or copy-paste to move these program and method files around.

The error about "inject unknown symbol" means that there is a mismatch between the program and the instrument configuration. Did you inherit this program from somewhere else? Probably the program originally assumed an autosampler, and you have a manual injector. Using the new program wizard will generate a program that is compatible with your current hardware configuration.

The bit about can't read the program means that the program specified in the sequence table is not found by that name in the resources listed at the top. Click on the offending program name in the sequence table, and a drop-down menu should show up; select one of the available programs.
