Hello,

did anybody of you ran the steam cleaning procedure for pneumatice systems, i.e. the procedure described in the agilent´s handbook for the headspace autosampler 7694?
I tried it today and I failed. The first problem was to set the vial pressurization gas to 15 psi (there is no button to do that..). The problem is enhanced by the fact, that the transfer line is out of the GC to avoid water steam in the GC system, but then the EPC controlled pressures shuts down. We dried to create a conjunction between auxiliary 4 and the carrier gas inlet on the sampler. that didn´t work. so we put direct nitrogen in the headspace carrier inlet, flow was about 100ml/min (as recommended), but the headspace waited for "GC ready", which never got ready, so I had to stop the procedure and now probably the water is still in the loop or elsewhere.
I am :( .....
Maybe someone has some suggestions.
THANKS,
Propanal
