conversion tp ppm

how do you convert the anion peaks of a hplc into ppm? the chromatogram has given me the height and area of the individual peaks in mV and mV/s respectively

You have to run your unknowns against standards.

Standard conc.*sample area/standard area=sample conc. if you are using a single point standard. If you're using a standard curve, do a linear regression of that to come up with a y=mx+b type equation for a line. Your sample response is Y, solve for x.

ppm conversion - mg/Kg, µL/L etc, I'll leave to you.
