I've searched, but not having too much success in finding an HPLC or ion chromatography procedure for sulfamic acid (sulfamate). Levels would be over 0.5%, so sensitivity is not a real issue for me. Thanks.

The focus is more on the different eluents than on the analytes but they mention sulfamate as one of the anions.
Column: PRP-X100
Mobile Phase: 4-hydroxy-3-aminobenzenecarboxylic acid

Thanks, I'll have my library services look that one up; I actually already have that column available here. If you can supply the mobile phase concentration, that would help me out, thanks.

concentration of 4-hydroxy-3-aminobenzoic acid was 3mmol/L;
1.5mL/min
pH=6.42

Only mention of sulfamate is in table 5 (p312):linear quantification range 0.6-10.0ppm; %RSD at lowest conc.=0.3

Phenomenex list it on their table for their Star-Ion A300 anion analysis column. Giving a retention time of 1.6 minutes for 3.6 mM Na2CO3 eluant at 1.5 ml/min using sulfamic acid at 20 ug/ml. Seems a bit close to other anions, such as chloride at 1.9 mins, but....

I have had some success in the past with sulfamate using a Dionex AS9-HC column with 9 mM sodium carbonate as the eluent. The peak comes between F and Cl and is well separated from both. tr ~ 4.5 minutes. Good luck
