Analysing Organochlorines pesticides in leek

Hi to all!
How to prepare the leek sample for analyse in a GC-ECD?
We use GPC for cleanup, but we only can see peaks under Rt= 20 minutes. The time before that RT, we only see a large band. That method with other commoditys give good results.
Any sugestion?
