generally we are using glycine in mobile phase in related substance method for -zoles(pantoprazole,esomeprazole,lansoprazole,rabeprazole) type compound, what is the reason behind this? what is the role of glycine?

Jumpshooter, where did you get that?
I have seen glycine used as a buffer and ionic strength modifyer.
