Need of Lower Limit of quantification in analysis

Dear Respected Members,

Recentally i read some discussions regarding need of LLOQ in pharmacokinetic stuides, some of the experts were questioning the need of LLOQ in these studies. What is opinion of the experts on these controversial issue. this has been repeeated on the forum many times, but each time i read those posts i get confused with contrasting views of various experts,

What parameters you measure/validate/report are determined by the needs/specifications of your client (the recipient/user of your analytical information). If your client does not require LLOQ, then the answer is obvious.

That said, I find it hard to imagine that bioanalytical results could be reported without knowing LLOQ. I think most of the questions center on what verbiage to use when reporting results below LLOQ but above LOD.
