This is a GC chromatogram of dodecylamin(lauryamine).Column is 30 m , 0,53, 0,1 um.(Supelco SPB 1701).Injector temp: 260°C, Det.temp:280°C.Programmed temperature; ramp 1= 2°/min-150°C hold 0 min,,
ramp 2= 20°C /min-250 °C hold 10 min.
Nitrogen (carrier) flow= 4 ml/min

Injection- 1 ul of 1g of laurylamine dissolved in 50 ml dichlormethane.

Can someone please help me and discuss my chromatogram? What the three peaks(except the first one-solvent) might be?

at first glance, don't you inject a too high concentration ? I see a lot of fronting, usually results of too high concentration (1 g/50 ml = 20000ppm)

what is the purity of your product. If it is not pure you can of course detect more peaks/products

Have you run other analytes like tetradecylamine, hexadecylamine, decylamine to compare retention times?

best wishes,
