Hi Everybody,
i want to analyse total reducible sugar in cane molasses by GC. Please provide me analysis method if anyone is doing this type of analysis.

Determination of sugars by HPLC.
Detector :Refractive Index Detector
Column :Ion Exchange column( i used Aminex HPX-87P FROM BIORAD)
cOLUMN TEMPERATURE : 80 C
Mobile Phase : Water
Flow : 0.6 ml/min
The column separated Dextrose,fructose and Sucrose.Maltose lies between dextrose and sucrose which we can not separate.So i have selected dextrose,fructose and sucrose.
The instrument used is Agilent 1100 HPLC.
I have tried this in C18 Column but it didn't works.
