We tried to use the Analyst 1.4.2 with Acquity UPLC. After a random injections the MS goes to standby without any error message. Then only killing all the Analyst and Acquity processes or restart helps.

Does anybody use sucessfully Analyst software with UPLC? (At least Waters claims that it could be possible, but the local service engineer can not help in this issue...)

I answer for myself.
I do not know the reason exactly, but after a firmware update on the UPLC it became more stable (it was updated to 1.30).
After the fw update it run in working hours without stopping, then stopped after I left the lab with the same syndrome I described in the original post.
Next day it started with several stops and then it worked for two days.

I think is that somehow the Acquity consol could have affect on the system. When the system run without problem, it was closed, only the Analyst was open.
I do not know if this was the reason or not, because after the system worked perfectly for a day I opened the Acquity consol, but did not experience the same problem again.

Unfortunately, the UPLC did not solve our carry-over problem -which was the original reason we tried it out-, so we stopped the work on it.
