Chemstation Custom Report

Hi folks - i need some advice on a problem i've got with chemstation.

i've been working on a custom report layout and have managed to lose some info from it.

the info in question is a macro where the data path for a sequence has dissapeared.

if anybody is familiar with these macros could they post some advice please?

This probably won't help, but the main data path (and sequence path) are in the PCS section of the win.ini

thanks for the reply. i ended up editing a macro and got the problem sorted .

If it is custom report template; you will be able to add the line to record the sequence path by editing it.
Can you provide me some details about the template or post it to this forum?

the report was based on the areapct template.

we couldnt find the function for adding the sequence number so for some reason (before my time) they stuck in a macro which covered this function.

Personally, i dont like this macro as if you change anything the whole thing goes belly up (and the rest of the macro is useless!)

like i said the problme is sorted now but if you could reccomend an alternative to a macro then that would be a great help.
